  • a protein treatment.. your hair is made up of protein, and a good protein treatment can really add protein that you lost back into your hair..
you can go to sallies beauty supply store and buy a package of it (they come in sample like packages for roughly 1-5 dollars). (Be sure it's a PROTEIN treatment and not just a hair treatment, because other stores, like walmart sell a lot of hair treatments, but they aren't worth the extra money, they are mostly crap).
hot oil treatments are great to help add shine, but most do little to revitalize hair.
now if you want the BEST way to care for it: go to the stylist for a trim, and a protein treatment.. Then invest in some better shampoos and conditioners that you stylist recommends for your hair type.
also ask for styling tips to keep it from drying out again.

  • Click onto Nature's Beauty Secrets/Dawn Gallagher and ask an expert on achieving natural beauty inside and out. You can also find her on FaceBook. She is a mom, supermodel, author, personal friend of mine, and a great hostess for charity events. She will either recommend one or a way to deep-condition your hair using natural ingredients found in your kitchen!

  • The hot oil treatments are pretty good too. Talk to a cosmetologist, i'm sure they'd have some great tips or products for you to use!

  • Protein treatments are awesome and VO5 Hot Oil treatment is pretty good too if you keep it up 1x a week until hair gets better.
Everything everyone above said is great too.
I think Aussie Mega makes a hot oil treatment too that's pretty good.
