Ectopic pregnancy- in the belly????

Maybe Im reading this wrong... WebMD says "ectopic pregnancy (sometimes called tubal pregnancy) can sometimes implant in the ovary, cervix, or the belly.

Is that really possible? O_O

  • Yup. Ectopic is any location not in the right spot.

    I think the nickname "tubal" just came about since that is the common type of ectopic.

    I actually survived an ectopic and mine was in my tube, but bottom line other areas are possible.

  • Yep they can implant anywhere but the uterus.
