  • for a newborn I look for safety, size, weight and brand rating.

  • Weight because you will carry it many miles. Never buy used, it could have been in car accident and you wouldn't know it.

  • i looked into travel system that has good ratings. when i upgraded around 9months i looked for weight , safety and size.

  • i just bought a my ride 65! since it fits infants and can RF to 40pounds! i wear my dd A LOT so no point in the infant car seat! way to heavy!
