  • Swim gear and soaker toys, if lake nearby. Football, maybe some other yard games, blanket, extra towels, papertowel, grill food and charcoal or premade sandwiches., watermelon, snacks, something for you to read, a few collapsable chairs, Cooler, extra ice, water and juice or soda, paperplates, if there are wild birdsbirds close, we used to have a great time feeding them popcorn or old bread chunks and maybe a radio. Have fun !!

  • wet wipes, a blanket to sit on, drinks, plates, napkins, sunscreen, food (like sandwiches, chips, fruit), maybe an outdoor toy like ball, football, frisbee to play with, and a camera to take pictures.

  • Are you looking for picnic menu ideas? (or more logistical stuff, like others have mentioned)

If food suggestions, I've been thinking about that, too, since my daughter seems to have her heart set on having a picnic on the fourth of July. It is tricky to me because she doesn't like mayo, so many of my mom's "standards" that say "PICNIC" to me won't really go over very well with her.

    These are my picnic memories

cold fried chicken, or sandwiches (my mom often would pack tuna sandwiches), subs from a fave shop, or something to grill
    potato salad or coleslaw
    a fruit salad
    deviled eggs
    potato chips
    cookies (or brownies)

  • I would just bring some kind of easy sandwiches, chips, a desert, some lemonade or coolaide, some fruit (usually can't go wrong with watermelon)...I would also bring wet wipes,,,,maybe a football or frisbie for some entertainment.
