I've not had it but I know it's pretty unpleasant at best and if it is allowed to persist it can leave a woman susceptible to infections and chronic candida for a life.
Initially it can be treated with over the counter medication used for candida. If that doesn't help a doctor can offer a good selection of other meds to help clear it up. But if the woman washes with soap, douches, wears manmade fibre undies or is, maybe because of sports or her local climate, frequently sweaty down there, if can be a pig to treat.
Sore, itchy, whiffy and swollen with discharge. Stronger/more symptoms than with straight candida (yeast infection/thrush).
