How to remove an ingrown toe nail?

mine's beginning to start but it's not hurting when i walk but it's forming a red bubble and my cousin says dig it out before it breaks through skin any ideas to remove it gently and not painful?

  • You might put a piece of cotton under it to keep it from growing under the skin any longer, if you can. It will help keep it lifted until it grows longer. File your nails from now on, instead of clipping, if you are prone to this problem. Other than these ideas you really should go to a doctor. GL

  • soak your feet in warm water and epsom salt.. for pry 30 mins or till your toe nail is soft then take your clipers and it should come right out!

  • Cut a "V" shape in the middle of your toenail. Each side of your nail will naturally grow back towards each other to close the V, thus pulling the ingrown edge out and up. It takes a couple days but it works!
