  • It is like history. Best way I can explain. Man went through much even before Jesus came and some of what is in the Bible is something people can learn from.

  • 2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

  • So, it's sort of a "before" and "after" guide? Where does it say that the Old Testament no longer applies to Christians? If none of the Old Testament laws are applicable to Christians, then why do so many Christians want the Ten Commandments posted in public buildings?

  • I don't think that the laws of the OT don't apply. No where does it say that. People believe it, but they can't back it up with scripture.

  • My husband's grandparents believe this. They believe we are no longer bound by Moses laws. I don't get it either

  • The New Testament fulfills the Old the Testament that does not make the Old Testament obsolete.

  • So. . . some Christians believe that the Old Testament laws no longer apply, others believe that some of the laws apply?  Does any Christian believe that all of the OT laws apply?
