  • Does she takes naps during the day? We stopped doing so many naps. Just about every other day they might get one. I definitely give them one the next day when they get silly. Everything you tell them becomes funny or they push limits they normally don't push when their not tired. No matter what time it is, I tell them that it's nine and bedtime. So for us bedtime is between 8 and 10. Especially since we've already did a bath, stories, etc. Staying in bed hasn't really been a problem at night for us (knock on wood). Good luck

  • Keep her up during the day. Put a baby gate in her doorway so she can get out of bed but knows not to come out of her room(or consequences)and start going to bed and getting up at a regular time every day. Keep your regular bath and book schedule. She will be on a regular schedule within a week or so if you stick to it. There might be bumps in the road but in general that's how you create good sleeping habits.

  • yup this is one of the hardest things ever!!!! But my 4yr old used to not want to take naps and then want to fall asleep at like 7pm. Now thats all fine and dandy but he gets up at like 11pm ready to play.....and thats a no we do cartoons reading and letter practicing from the time we get up till 2pm.(yes of course breakfast and lunch thru the time) we always mix it up and watch diff things...maybe read first...or have a different letter game everyday!! Then since it summer we go swimming(if were at grandmas for the day we have a blow up pool there) remember sunblock lol. :p .............. we swim till about 3:30 or 4 depending on the day.....then inside to cook dinner while I cook he does what he wants too.........till dinner time...then bath time...then bed time......of course we have days were we are not home and what not...but we try to keep him awake if we are out later than usual so he will be asleep by 8:30
