Help me pick a strong boys name

My boyfriend and I are having trouble picking a boys name. The middle name is going to be Paul after his uncle who past on. I want something unique but my boyfriend says I pick girly names. Please help ladies :)

  • I think a lot of the more common names that have been around for a while sound stronger than some of the newer ones just because we don't know any grown men with those names. I think there will be so many other men with those "unique" names when our sons are grown men that they won't seem so unique anymore. That being said, we named our son Daniel. Michael was our second choice. Other names I liked that my husband thought sounded too girly were Caleb and Nolan - he immediately said no to those. You might look at the names of relatives in your great or even great-great grandparents generations - those names might seem unique because they are not used as much today, but they will also seem strong because they belonged to real men.

  • I prefer the classic boys names. Nothing too trendy, because IMO, they do tend to sound girly. I have Christopher, Nicholas, Andrew, and John. I also love Patrick, Levi, William, Joseph....

  • I think Noah is a good name. I would say Sean, but if you listen to hip hop or reggae that's def too trendy lol. I would say Noah is my fav right now.
