Only children: Do you need time alone now and then?

I do. I'm very happy in my own company and never stuck for anything to do either.

How about you?

  • YES! I have no problem being alone, sometimes for hours on end. DH has a hard time understanding that, but I tell him being an only child, it's how I grew up.

  • I CRAVE MY ALONE, I actually will go into withdrawals if I don't get some. I love my DH, and I adore my son (18), but I am soooooooooo over their dramas. I LOVE when I get to not hear one or both of them griping about something...........

  • I cherish my alone time after my boys go to sleep. I feel like my brain is finally able to relax. Only my friends that are also the only child understand what I mean.
