  • With my last child I lost 40 pounds withint 3 days of his birth. I didn't gain anything during that pregnancy. I did weight myself a couple hours before labor and the next day when we took a bath I got on my scale and had already lost 20ish pounds.

  • I weighed about 160 before I had my baby. I weighed 178 right before I delivered. About 5 hours after I had my daughter, I weighed 155, I went home in my pre pregnancy jeans and a fitted top and you couldn't even tell I had a baby. If you take good care of yourself during pregnancy my eating RIGHT and not just because your pregnnat, I think it is normal to be your normal size

  • I think I was about 10 pounds lighter after birth, but everything is tender, so I would suggest taking loose clothes to come home in... especially underwear. A nursing bra is perfect too. Everything i brought to wear home was too tight, so I wore the same clothes I arrived at the clinic in.
I didn't really start to lose weight til I got pregnant again, so I still am not in pre-preggo clothes. GL :)

  • i didn't gain much weight during my pregnancy either! however, i still wore a maternity top home from the hospital.... you'll look nine pregnant going in and four months pregnant going out. it takes time for your uterus to shrink, so plan on wearing the maternity clothes a little longer!

  • I didn't get my weight when I left the hospital, but I'd lost 20 pounds a week later, and 33 at my 6 week post-partum check-up (I gained 30 through the pregnancy). But my pre-pregnancy clothes didn't fit until almost a year later, at which point I'd lost an additional 11 pounds. The thing with pregnancy is that it changes the way your body carries the weight, so while the weight may come right off, the inches may take a bit longer and be a lot harder to get rid of (if you're ever able to completely).

  • I weighed 140 before pregnancy, then ended at 180. I had mine at a birth center, so we left within 3 hours of birth. I remember stepping on the scale, and it read 160. Within 1 month I was 140. By Coral's 1st B day, I was 125 (I trained a lot). Before this pregnancy, I was 135, and only 24 wks.
