Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do?

I keep buying things that are inexpensive then having to replace them a year or two later. Very annoying. The camera before my last camera I had was a Kodak and I had that one for at least 6 years. My latest one, a samsung, has just died on me and now I have to buy a new one. I want to take adavantage of the July 4th sales so does anyone have any ideas? I want to be able to zoom in so when my son is in a play and I'm far back I can still get good pics and clear pics. I also like to take good pics outside for our seaworld trip in two weeks and when we go to the zoo. I also like taking video. The camera that just broke took decent video but I always had trouble with regular pictures. I probably didn't know how to use my last camera to it's fullest but it only beeps when i turn it on and shuts it self off so it's definitely broken. Thanks for your input.

  • I have a Kodak right now and I hate it. Every picture I take is blurry. The one I had before was so great. I might spend a bit more money and get a Nikon next time.

  • AhhhHA!...You sound just like me a few years ago. The $100 digital cameras don't last all that long if you use them alot. Things break on them and they will tell you, it costs more than the camera to fix. So...they're junk. I gave up and just bought a $700 Nikon (which I'm sure someone will judge me for) and it's the best camera and I will never try to save a buck when it comes to my photos again! I believe in You get what you pay for and I don't like replacing things year after year. Same goes for my shoes, purses etc. I don't like junk. I like something I will have in good condition for 10 years without this falling apart or that zipper breaking etc. Here's Nikon link, mine was with extra lenses purchased etc all total.
