Having heartburn really bad...and can't sleep. What can I do?

  • !ouch! Tums...if u got them. Milk works sometimes if its all u got. Prevacid and zantac are the best OTC if u have to go to pharmacy

  • Just seen the Prego part. Dont take prevacid or Zantac without talking to doc. Drink milk or take tums. Place ur pillows high to allow digestion easier

  • Shake the milk first. Funny as it may sound it will help relieve the heartburn better. Whole milk works better then 2% or skim. Little trick my b/f showed be when I was pregnant.

  • Sometimes, unfortunately it just helps to get up and walk around. Sleeping isn't going to happen. Milk and water help dilute it. My grandmother uses baking soda mixed with water which helps her but it makes me gag. If you have a comfortable recliner then try sleeping in that. I hope you fell better.

  • Try eating apples and chewing spearmint gum, that always helped me.
