  • That totally depends on where you live.

In some areas of MA I would charge you $25/hour, but in TN i couldnt charge you more than $5-$9/hour.

  • are you asking for a family rate or hiring a babysitter rate?

i babysit my 5 yr old and 3 month old cousin, both boys for 5-6 an hour.

but, if i were babysitting just any 3 boys, i would say 8-10 an hour.

  • I live in Va,I charge 30.00 a day for 2 kids so 1.50 an hour per child, but I have them spoiled rotten,so I usually spend most of it back on them.

  • I pay $7.00 an hour plus tip. I tip usually an extra hour and then some. Good sitters are hard to come by. But I require mine have a driver's lisence, make good grades, I know their parents, and they will be a regular sitter. We only have one. Right now she is in college and my son misses her like crazy. Oh, and birthday and holiday gifts are required if you want to keep a good baby sitter.

  • I babysit a 17 month old boy for $10/hr in MA. If it were 3 boys, I would require at least$15/hr.

  • My old sitter charged $4 an hour plus 50 cents per extra child. I've never paid more than $25 a day for a baby sitter for my oldest 4 kids all together.
