  • I suggest The Children's Place. I find a lot of clothing are built for children that have a bit of extra weight on them. If I have to use other clothing (she's 8 now) then sometimes I have to roll the waist down.

  • Buy a few premie dresses....length won't matter so much and they'll fit her narrow frame.

  • I was just going to say children's place. We have the same problem :) And she' 5 1/2 months! She doesn't have that baby fat and rolls upon rolls my other kids got, so its hard for us too. Its really hot for us right now, so she wears a lot of those one piece summer type jump suit things I guess they're called. But don't worry, she will be filling out before too long!

  • I wouldn't go too nuts, honestly. Children grow at an enormous rate at this age and what does not fit today, will very soon. We had 0-3 month outfits for both my kids when they were born. They swam in them those first several weeks...and then suddenly everything fit well and before I knew it at 2 months old, we were ready to move on to the next size.

It's been a while since I had to buy that size - my 'baby' is 6 1/2 years old and my first baby is 9 years old - but I seem to recall Target and Walmart would offer some smaller sizes. If you've got a Carter's outlet by you try them too.

  • Baby clothes aren't fitted/snug like adult clothes are. It doesn't matter what size she's in, they'll always be wide, pretty much.
