  • No we don't have to wear them here either... I for one am VERY happy about that!!! We have a dress code... common sense really. It works just fine

  • ~*Hmm*~... weird thing was my eldest son in elementary didn't have to (just a dress code), than they made all wear uniforms in Jr. High (to prevent gangs their reasoning)... than high school street wear with a basic dress code

my 2 younger kids will probably face the same thing

  • all our schools have uniforms because alot of the parents would not follow or enforce the dress code....we had girls dressing like hookers in high school, really nasty look and the gangs were taking over with their colors and such.....I love the uniforms, plain khaki pants, no cargos for obvious reasons....and polo shirts....they even have give aways of uniforms for the poor familys....

  • My son's school does have a uniform of sorts. Khaki pants, courds or skirts and shirts with collars. I think ALL schools should have uniforms. Nothing wrong with khaki's and shirts with collars. Then I don't have to look at girls butts, thongs and breasts and boys pants aren't hanging to their knees with their boxers sticking out.

  • I so wish our schools would go to uniforms. It would be cheaper. No arguments in the mornings, and the girls wouldn't dress like pole dancers and the boys underwear wouldn't be showing.

  • Yes but then we are from the UK. My girls wear grey skirts,, polo shirt and a cardigan or jumper with black shoes. I feel its best to have a uniform espcially when they go out on school trips.

  • My sons do not quite have uniforms, but they do have a very strict dress code.

  • we dont have uniforms but I found this interesting all shirts need to have collars and any pants/skirt/shorts/dress that has belt loops must be belted. Also no hoodies or printed sweatshirts as coverups(public schools)
