When is it OK for a girl to start wearing make up

  • i told my kids they could wear very light makeup at thirteen ( like colored lip gloss and light blush)

  • My 3 y/o wears play make up, but never if we are going out of the house. I talk to her about how we are beautiful on the inside and we don't need make up to be beautiful (she will put on make up and say, "Mommy, I'm beauitful now!").

    As for regular make up, I say 13 is a good starting age as well, for light make up.

  • i didnt get to wear makeup until i was 15 almost 16y/o, i would say 14 at the youngest
