When do you wash with warm water

and when do you wash with cold?

  • Usually cold unless it is my aprons or something else dirtier than normal. Those I do in warm. I use hot for our white dish towels because I bleach them and want them really clean.

  • I wash everything but whites in cold. Whites get washed in hot with bleach.

  • i wash everything in cold cold, but when i start doing diapers i will wash those in hot cold, those are the settings on my washer. i laughed at my dh when the maintenance man put the hoses on wrong and asked if it mattered anyway...um, yeah it does lol

  • I only wash bleachable whites in warm water, everything else is in cold.
