  • It depends on where you live and where you work at. I worked at a nursing home several years ago and started out at $9 an hour.

  • It depends on your area and if you will be working in a nursing home or a hospital. On average it can be anywhere from $9-$14 for a new cna with little or no experience.

  • I'm in IL and it's anywhere from min wage which is $8.25 to $12ish for STARTING. There are a few CNA jobs in the hospitals around here that are $14, but that's with more experience and on the more intensive floors.
I just took my state test June 16th, so I'm waiting on my results online......congrats to you!!!! :)

  • i worked in a subacute facility and started at 9.50 and later it would have went up to 10.50. its kinda hard to find places that hire with no experience though but i found one. good luck, i hope you like being a cna cause i hated it. it wasn't like i thought at all but thats probably just the type of facility i worked at.

  • Depends on where you live. My mom doesn't make very much and she's been at her job for about 13 years and it's in a rural town.
