  • Wear him out! Let him run and play for a while before bed and stick to a routine... with dd it was play, dinner, bath pjs and quiet time then lights out. You could also try keeping him up a little later he might just be getting too much sleep! We changed my daughters bed time from 8 to 8:30 and she started sleeping through the night most nights only waking if she had a wet diaper or had to go potty. Be firm about it if he does wake up! "no honey its not time to wake up yet" Snuggle for a while then put them back in bed when he's really relaxed. it's rough because he might cry a little but let him for a few minutes before going to get him.

  • My 4.5 year old still often wakes up in the middle of her sleep.

She comes into our bed and we all sleep together for the rest of the night:)
