Tape from a c-section

You know how they tape you up after a c-section?(to cover the stitches)
Well, When can I take the tape off or do I wait until my checkup?

  • Well they took off some of it but the rest they left on. Its been over 2 weeks

  • I would take it off. For me they were like "you aren't getting discharged until you can take your tape off."

  • LOL I thought the same thing. I found out later I could have taken them off before I was discharged. Take them off! You'll fell better.

  • am i the only one who was glued? i never had tape, they just glued me back together. lol that sounds weird to me. but seriously was i the only one?

  • i had giant frankenstein staples holding my big jagged cut closed. tape would have been much nicer =(

  • They took the tape off before I left the hospital. I also learned do NOT overwork yourself, I did not really listen to this advice when I should have and I had issues with the dis-solvable staples actually coming out through my skin, which really hurt.
