  • Hand me down. They're good for 6 years and it's my sister. She keeps everything pristine.

  • We will be using a new seat. Carseats have expiration dates, so beware before using a hand-me-down.

  • New. I will do almost anything to save a penny, but safety is not one of those things.

  • New. All of my daughter's car seats have been new. We bought the travel combo (stroller/infant seat) before she was born. Then, we bought 2 convertible seats, one for us and one for the grandparents. Now, she still has those convertible seats, plus an additional that we bought (Graco Nautilus) for forward facing....which she LOVES!

  • Ours was new and then got handed down to the next child :) Our infant car seat went through three babies before it expired. We actually just cut the straps and put out in the trash about a month ago. We have bought three new convertible car seats and have also received used ones from people that we know. I wouldn't buy a used one from someone I didn't know in case it was really in an accident and they said it wasn't.
