How do i become more muscular?

  • Low intensity/weight trainig and the proper excercises will build muscle, along with a proper diet.

  • First remember that women CAN build muscle and will NOT look like the incredible hulk unless you take steroids! You need to weight train to build muscle. Once you work a muscle group, you need to let that muscle group rest and repair itself for 48 hours. Your diet needs to be healthy and clean, with lots of protein. I use whey protein to make shakes and I also like Detour protein bars myself. If you are serious about building muscle, check out Oxygen magazine. It is an awesome resource for women interested in living a fit, healthy lifestyle.

  • Lift heavier weights. Do 3-4 sets of 5-8 rep exercises but make sure your lifting heavy enough weights where the last rep is almost too hard to complete. Do each exercise slowly, concentrating on specific muscle groups.
