Do i need to see a doctor for progesterone supplements? i think i have a short luteul phase..

I just got a positive rest and im trying too see my ob/ gyn as soon as possible but they will not see me until week 8, but im scared it may be too late by then. So I was was wondering could I pick this up ar a health food store or drug store?

  • I believe that you can only get progesterone with a prescription. I had dFET and started with progesterone shots and then had suppositories as DH needed to travel for work and wasn't around for a nightly shot.


    See if you can talk to someone at a compounding or natural pharmacy. They can prescribe under some circumstances.
