  • What type of development? Speech, motor, cognitive, etc? Almost everything you do aids in their development! Every time you sing a song, tickle her tummy, let her stand while holding your hands, etc.

  • have him/her pick up a large item to picking up a smaller item. go from a big plastic cup (that fits the hand obviously) to a small item like a pencil (obviously watching so he/she doesn't get hurt). they also have toys where the baby puts the box in the proper place, and when he/she does, it sings. it will take a long time though for her to learn this at a young age.
playing with others his/her age will really help too :)

  • websites like fisher price and huggies might have ideas. my son is only four months old, so we haven't reached that point yet. but i imagine it should be fun for the both of you! :)
