Why do men not listen?

Told my huaband I was babysitting tomorrow all day. Then an hour later I said he needs to go to bed early tonight cause we have to get up at 6am. And his response was..."why?" Can u not remember what I just said to u just an hour ago. Geez. Pit your listening ear on.
