  • Since a baby that age has no clue what Christmas and presents are, maybe you could find something that they can crawl through or a really cool box that can be made into a car and dragged everywhere. Kids love that kind of stuff.

  • a easy to handle that makes a few noises or blinks lights when he touches it. fisher-price/vtech has tons of things like this.

  • honey, at 9 months they are only interested in the wrapping paper and the box....... but for a real toy for later...get something that helps the baby with his/her motor skills.....

  • at 9 months they don't really know the meaning of gifts and such they are more interested in the wrapping paper and lights; I would say an educational toy that they can use for a few years that helps with their motor and learning skills; and a softer toy that they can hold and cuddle or something they can teeth on
