What can I do about a sprain arm for a 6 year old?

my dd is 6 and we have a trampoline that has a net around it, but my dd was getting ot of it and decided to jump off the edge and fell on her arm. DH said it isn't broke that she probably sprain it. It hurts when you move it certain ways I did give her childrens ibprofen, but is there anything else besides that and ice? Also how long will it hurt her?

  • yes of course I checked her arm. It doesn't look swollen. And I don't know if it was warm to the touch it is cold right now cause she has had ice on it.

  • Ice is a good start, and keep it elevated. If pain continues I'd recommend taking her to the doctor.
