My 5 year old has a cough

I've tried cough medicine and allergy medicine...neither works. Any ideas?

  • I would try the vicks on the feet thing, and if that didn't work, I'd go back to old times and do a mustard pack.... GL!

  • Try Vicks Vapor rub on her feet with socks over it. That will at least help her sleep. Might be time to call the dr depending on how bad the cough is though.

  • try vicks on her chest and feet with socks on at night, and run a humidifier...depending on how long the cough has been going on and if it has gotten better/worse, you should call the pediatrician.. my 5 year old gets a regular cough once a year and its nothing, she has no other symptoms..
