going to make sugar pies tomorrow with my friend. I'm already salivating at the idea Come on hate on me now Lol

  • recipe,



    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. light cream
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    9" pie shell

     


    Combine sugar, flour and salt. Stir in boiling water. Add light cream, nutmeg and vanilla. Pour in pie shell. Bake 10 minutes at 450 degrees. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake an additional 40 minutes.

  • I'm not sure of what a sugar pie is either. I can only imagine. Since you're looking forward to it, they must be good!!!

  • I've never had a sugar pie before... I'm also diabetic so that's probably why...lol
