  • Are you talking community or state? Community college is waaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper here than in some other states. You should be grateful that's as low as it is. Not sure how the state colleges compare.

The state is basically screwed. You've got politicians wasting money on who the heck knows what kind of stupid crap with no money left for what it should be spent on. Can't expect costs to go down in such a situation.

  • PS There aren't really jobs anyway, so it's all basically a waste.

  • community schools may take a hit, but not much of one
CSU's aren't that bad, I pay roughly 8k, not including books, per year.
UC's cost BANK. about 20k per year, not joking

choose your major wisely, look at its growth and how it will trend for the next 4 years. Mine is at 20% growth and stays that way for the next 4 years, but say you are going for HIstory???? Might want to rethink that or have an incredible passion fo history

  • The state is cutting back funding from schools and higher education. It's sad.

  • State colleges in Wisconsin are seeing a 26% increase in tuition starting in September. Unfortunatley tuition goes up yearly at most colleges. An education is well worth the expense. A lot of states are reducing funding from, not only, higher education but K-12 schools too.
