Can you start getting braxton hicks at 25 weeks 1 day? I was reading about them, and they said you can get them from not drinking enough water....I drink water like no other. Just wondering!

  • They typically begin around week 28. I'm not an expert, but I feel like that's not too far off to be impossible.

  • with my fist i had them a little after 30 weeks here and there and with my second started having them around the 20 week mark just here and there and carried her to 38 weeks but that was just do to my leaking... Like have already heard and read, every pregnancy is different but do not be afraid to give your doc a call and just check with him...

  • Absolutely.

I started geting them with my last pregnancy at 12 weeks. I was at risk for pre term labor, though.

As long as you don't have more than 5 an hour, you are fine.

  • you can experience braxton hick contractions as early as 6 weeks, but of course you probably won't feel them at that point. For me I began feeling braxton hick contractions at about 19 weeks. It depends on the person, some don't feel them at all! (Lucky ladies, lol)
