Do you care when when someone posts something and it is a run on sentence, or any improper english?

  • thats my take who really cares as long as i know what it means i mean i type like a chicken so just getting down what i want to say is a huge thing for me....lol

  • As long as it makes sense it's tolerable...but ya...it's kind of irritating. I try to save my irritation for more important things like when someone's asking if their pregnant or when someone asks if spanking a child as a form of discipline is evil. Those are more irritating : )

  • If it makes sense, that's fine and dandy.

    But if I can't understand what they're trying to say AT ALL, oh lord...it gives me a headache.

  • Not really. The ones I don't even attempt to read anymore are those written as if the asker is sending a text message.

  • there is much more going on these days to let improper english or a run on sentence bug me. Time to find a hobbie

  • It bugs me when I can't read it. I'm an extremely fast reader and if I have to slow down to decipher something, it drives me crazy!

  • If I have to spend time deciphering what they are trying to say because of their inability to use punctuation then I don't read it. It makes me wonder what they are teaching in schools these days because it obviously isn't basic English grammar (that doesn't apply to non-native English speakers or people with learning disabilities, but, then again, those people seem to actually try to write correctly).
