Mirena IUD HELP adult content

Im getting my mirena taken out next week and want to know what to expect. When I got the mirena put in it didnt hurt at all, ive had it in almost 5 years and its never caused me problems, I havent had a period in years although once in awhile I do spot a little. I do however get cramps around the same time every month. Im planning on getting another put back in since I have had no problems with it.
Any advice on getting it taken out, im pretty nervous about it =(

  • I've heard theres less pain and less uncomfortable feeling than when you get it put in.

  • It took maybe 5 minutes at the most..Painless.

  • It took just a few seconds, and was literally just a second of pain. Easier than getting a shot. Afterward, my periods have been pretty normal - not what I expected coming off of BC after 4 years!
