Do you ever find yourself befriending the underdog at times?

oh do you choose to avoid them?
by underdog, i mean:
1. A competitor thought to have little chance of winning a fight or contest.
2. A person who has little status in society

  • Yes but if I can't see that they want to learn how to improve then I don't waste a lot of time. I don't let them bring me down by clinging. I offer to guide them but don't want to take on their life and problems.

  • Whether someone is an underdog or not makes no difference to whether I would befriend them, people are people regardless, talented people are no better than the next person purely because they are talented. I think mainly shallow people choose to befriend people according to status or talent.

  • it seems a lot of my friends are the underdogs
    they bring me down sometimes! so i thought...maybe for once i should try to avoid them when they come running towards me asking for help.
