How can you tell if a man truly loves you

I'm just curious to know what do you guys think a guy would do in order to prove to you that he truly loves you? Would a guy that loves you but doesn't really love you enough to marry you, propose to you just to keep you around? If this was the case what would the outcome of the marriage be in the long run? Have this every happened to you guys and if so what ended up being the outcome?

  • if someone proposes to you just to keep you around they're being selfish if they really don't want to get married and it's what you want. if what you want is marriage and he doesn't want it, he should just be honest with you. it's not fair for you to spend energy on a relationship that isn't going to bring you what you truly want. my man married me cuz he wanted to not just to please me. a relationship that carries on like that will most likely fall apart cuz one will resent the other for lying.

  • A person who really loves you will hold your hair back when you're throwing up.

Don't go induce vomiting as a test or anything, it's the general idea that your comfort is such a high priority for them.

  • A man who loves you will give you his last dollar for gas. A man who loves you will take your kids in as his.

  • A man would WANT to marry you, he wouldn't just propose to make you happy if he truly loved you.

  • People should never have to "prove" they love someone. That's a bad sign.
