  • It depends! In moderation, they are very pleasant! But in our old home, we had a pond not far from the house, and in early summer there would be a massive explosion of frogs, and their constant croaking would make the dishes in the kitchen vibrate! Kept me up at nights. In a few weeks the frogs would have either died off or moved on, and the noise would drop back to a pleasant, quieter backdrop.

  • I live in the middle of maine in the country so I have no choice but to listen to them! Not my fave sound but I know plenty that find it comforting. For me though hearing the racetrack just a couple miles down the road going on the weekends is like a lullabye =) SO says I'm one of the biggest rednecks he knows haha

  • Just reading the question made my skin crawl. AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH! My grandma used to live by a pond and you could hear the bullfrogs at night. I never thought about it then, but there had to be hundreds back there! It never bothered me then, but now all I can think about is being swarmed by frogs in the middle of the night or something. LOL

  • Love it!!! I live in the south. When we hear the frogs its usually before rain or right after its finish raining. Something peaceful about it you know?
