Anyone here a computer geek? How do i fix a error meessage that says Intel ProSet/wireless event log service stopped working and was closed

I googled and i found a bunch of threads on the intel website with people having the same issues. But nobody has told them how to do it. i went to the intel website to look for new downloads and i dont see anything close to what i need. i opened the Intel Pro Set wireless application and nothing on there helps either. • are you running your computer wireless? FIRST I would reset my router and reboot my computer, if that did not work then I would uninstall my rounter and reinstall making sure all drivers are installed correctly. what have you tried so far..

  • The other option is to go into the Intel/Prowireless and set the setting to allow Windows to control your internet settings. I had to reconfigure one the other day. It was showing different messages not sure if this was the same message or not. It might require an uninstall / reinstall.
