How do you know when you are getting old?

Funniest answer gets the best answer.

I knew I was getting old when I had to start wearing glasses (over 40 now) and I can't see in the shower with them off. So while shaving my legs I see dark spots. Thinking I keep missing I keep shaving. I finally give up only to get out, put my glasses on and find out I wasn't missing, it's vericose veins.

  • I'm afraid I believe in denial. I'll be 50 in a week in a half. Don't feel old at all....now my kids are happy to tell me just how old I am, but as long as I don't get a hearing aid, I won't have to listen to it......

  • ohwrite I'm with you on that one. I still wear trendy clothes and I'm already getting tired of hearing people my age complain about all of their "old" illnesses. I thought it wouldn't be until I was retired.
