IMO, he's an okay dude with an awesome name. He's not one of the loud mouths who gets quoted all time, plus...he's from the high five state which makes him an automatic bad ass.

He's not a media whore, a republican sell-out (not yet anyway) nor has he made a career out of running for president. He does kind of look like Mr. Burns though.

The district he represents now is an older, west-side Detroit suburb with a bazillion old people. It's the Florida of Michigan. I've met him twice and found him to be thoughtful, intelligent, man. Pending his campaign, he's one of the few exceptions I would consider to voting for Obama.

I disagree with many of his positions but i don't think whether or not we share the same ideas is indicitive of whether or not he can manage a giant counrty.

  • I saw him on Huckabee's program last wkend.  I really like him but my favorite is still Herman Cain with Michelle Bachman in 2nd place.

Hmmm, big surprise, certain media members DO NOT like him either, that must mean that he has potential!

  • Well, gee, I don't know, but I would hope that all Presidential candidates can write and spell correctly and use correct grammar. That IS a sign of education and intelligence , both of which are extremely necessary. Who wants some good old boy with a lack of education and couth in the White House.
This dude had better try a little harder,IMO.
