Mine are 6 and 7, and although they know all about Wii and Nintendo (and I know very very little), and they know about cell phones they don't know nearly as much as I do about computers.

Most def my 6yo he has the Ipad figured out myself on the other hand can barely turn the thing on :)

I do. My kids know how to use them for the purposes for which they are allowed to use them, but that's the extent of it right now. I know how to actually enable and disable things, how to install and uninstall things, and how to make *some* repairs.

I am sure, however, that there will come a day when my kids knowledge will surpass mine. And I will gladly let them take over family and friend tech support, too. lol
