Gris Gris

Does anyone know anything about this, I am from a Cajun family, but didn't get to grow up around it, so I missed out. I have since been trying to learn about my background, and have heard about this, I do know it`s something that's like magic or Voodoo, however you see it. Anyways I was wondering about more. I know I can read about and I have but I wanted to hear first hand  from some that might really know. Thanks

  • " Gris-gris " is french for---gray-gray. It's a bag, a talisman that is often worn around the neck, or it can be carried. It might contain small rocks, feathers and/ or other items that could have magical significance.

  • it's a little bag that you put stuff in to make a spell and you wear it. It is usually made with white muslin, and has a draw string in the top. You add herbs, stones, whatever the spell calls for
