How do you send a bump?

and exactly what is it for? is it to cheer someone up?

  • when you see "bump" as a response to the question it is moving the question to the top of the line for that category. It does not have to say "bump" it can simply be an answer to the question, but generally you see it when people want more responses for a question.

  • a bump is for moving a post to the top of the list. only works in groups, not the answers section.
