Does your city honor the noise codes during the holiday weekend?

Last night the idiot neighbors where shooting firecrackers right outside our bedroom window until 2 am and they are back at it tonight. Since it's the holiday our city won't do anything about it. )c:

  • What really gripes me is that the other neighbors will be hacked off and their kid will be playing the trumpet outside at 6 am. We go through this every time the neigbors make a lot of noise into the night. )c:

  • My daughter has asked twice now if she can yell at them. It's really annoying to be scared every few minutes for hours on end. I do think I might let her go and shoot off a whole pack right outside their window nice and early, though. LOL

  • Augh. My neighbours did this for canada day and it was terrible. They woke the baby constantly! I complained but they were too drunk to care. Plus their teenage sons have a thing for screaming and yelling on summer nights and especially holidays!

  • I live in the Appalachian Mountains in Virginia. I don't think half the people out here know what a noise ordinance is, and if they do, then no one really cares, since they were shooting off fireworks until 2 am last night.
