  • Onions and garlic, seemed to give DS gas. But in general, I ate everything, varied diet. I have heard friends be advised to limit nuts due to allergy potential but I ate them now and then.

  • Anything that could cause either of us gas. LOL I did eat anything & my son is not a picky eater. He eats salad over pizza, or at least a salad first.

  • I stayed away from garlic, too. I noticed tat my son had a tougher time sleeping due to gas. He always seemed fussier. A friend of mine realized her daughter was "allergic" to cow's milk this way. Every time my friend ate dairy, her daughter broke out in a rash!

  • I have been eating fairly healthy but when DD was younger I had to stay away from apples & peanut butter because it gave her a upset tummy

  • Every time I had OJ or any citrus, DD would spit up so I stopped eating any type of citrus. With DS, I didn't need to stay away from anything. (I have food allergies so I stay away from those foods - breastfeeding or not.)

  • I didn't have to stay away from anything. But there are moms that do need to eliminate things from their diet. Best advice I can give, is for you to eat as you normally do, and only remove things from your diet if you notice baby consistently reacting to it.
