  • Ask your daughter's pediatrician.

  • Nope! My 15 month old has always been like that. Hes fine. He just likes to be in his own little world! LOL! But if you're concerned talk to the doc.

  • She is a baby and babies do not have the comprehension to ignore. If you are sure her hearing is just fine, I wouldn't be alarmed.

  • Does she react to other sounds? If you slam a door, does she startle? Does she react to your voice if she's fussy or alone? If so, don't worry another second. Some kids take FOREVER to figure out their names, so don't go by that alone!

LOL, that just made me think about my nephew Alex. When he was younger, but old enough to know his name, he freaked out when I told him his name was actually Alexander. "No it's not! I'm telling!" followed by a huge crying fit. Not really relevant to your question, but funny anyway. Some kids just have issues with their names. :)

  • Not at all. My son wouldn't respond but when I made that clicking noise to get my friend's cat's attention he looked right over:) They respond to what they think is cool.
