  • Do what you feel you can handle. Your kids may get along or not and their age difference won't necessairly affect that. My first 2 are 16 months apart (look like they could be twins) and get along as well as fight. 2.5 yrs later I had another and she thinks she rules the roost (her personality, lol) and 3 years later I had my last, we'll see how he fits in as he get's older.....

  • 3-4 year is good. My rule of thumb is wait until one is fully potty trained.

  • there is 5 years between my first two and 2 years between the middle and the last... the oldest can be a big help, but so is the middle and him and his little brother play well together sometimes... basically u will make it work no matter what :)

  • I am not sure if there is a GOOD age. I have 2y 6d, 10.5m, 11m and 3y 2w. I would definitely NOT recommend months apart but, it wasn't horrible.

  • I forgot to add me and my real sister are TWENTY YEARS APART!!! Lol

Answer by Blakesgirl31 at 10:27 PM on Jul. 3, 2011

  • There is 19.75 months between my 1st and 2nd. And there is 5.5 years between 2 & 3 because my body did't want to cooperate. It was great for the little one because he had me all to himself while the older ones were at school and had siblings evenings, weekends and vacations.
