  • I bake most of the time.. I recently had this idea in my head that I want to be the Martha Stewart of my house so to deal with all of my many stressors right now, I have been baking, organizing my home, and Im going to start jarring and pickling things.

  • its something that started in my early childhood as coping mechanism for the abuse i was suffering at the time and it just stuck..i try alternitives like snapping a rubberband on my wrist or digging my fingernails into my arm but some times it just dosent provide enough relief..I am not ashamed of it. I am NOT suicidal. I understand it and it is normal for me. DH thought i was crazy the first time he caught me doing it..i have explained why and how it gives me relief..and he has seen that it is my therapy, so he dosent pay much mind any more. If he sees that i have a bandage on my arm, he will just ask me if i need to talk.. and i appreciate that.
