Baby or toddler?

My son is 10 months old, when is a baby no longer considered an infant and considered a toddler? Just wondering.

  • I think of them as a toddler once they are trying to walk but if that was before a year old I'd personally still think of them as an infant or baby. My DD is nearly 3 but I still think of her as a toddler. She isn't 'toddling' anymore but still has some toddler type needs. Good question. x

  • He's a baby until about 18 months, then he's a toddler until 3, then a preschooler until 5.
