Has anyone...

moved and LOVED the new house, but there was just that one thing that you miss about the old house? Our new house is great, it is bigger and much nicer, but I miss all the cabinets in our old kitchen, and right now I missing our stove. This stove only has a cook time option, which means when I am baking cookies I can't use the timer because once the timer goes off the oven shuts off! Our old oven had the cook time option but also had a kitchen timer option so that you could set the timer and the oven wouldn't turn off when the timer went off. It is also not cooking the cookies like the old one. :(

  • I think most people when they move to a new house miss something from the old house. It will just take some time and adjustment to get used to your new stove and oven.

  • I can honestly say that I have never missed anything from any other house we have ever lived in. We have done a lot of upgrading though.

  • My last house before this one was wonderful, my favorite by far; but I missed all the porches we had in the old house.

  • I always miss things about my other house. We all become comfortable with what we have. When the comfort is no longer there, then you miss it. I know thats the case with me.
